
Millennials: A Snowflake Generation?
Increasingly aware of their context of health, property, bodily and wealth insecurity, the millennial generation is one understandably beset by worries. And yet often when they show an awareness of this anxiety-inducing environment they are dismissed as ‘snowflakes’ or lacking resilience.

High or Low, It’s Off To Work We Go
It is one of those essential truths that when your work life is messy, your whole life starts feeling the impact. There is nothing like a draining and demoralising day at work to ensure your evening is spent in mindless distractions or anxious self-recriminations. And don’t even get me started on those 3am wakeful moments when you simultaneously decide you’re a big fat failure and will go to Nepal and become a monk.

Don't Fake It Till You Make It
There is big money in happiness. From retreats where you can cuddle a goat to t-shirts telling you to look for rainbows in every shower, it is hard to get away from the impression that happiness should be our single life pursuit. Yet for many people it feels as unachievable as reaching that rainbow and we can be left feeling that we have somehow missed a boat that we never even saw arrive.

When Fears Turn Global
It can be difficult to maintain our hold on our anxiety levels at the best of times, but when we see tension on the global stage, we can find ourselves overwhelmed by feelings of powerlessness, fear and anxiety. And then wider global conflict can lead to inner turmoil all too easily.
